At Doctors of Physical Therapy, our support team is the glue of our clinics. We are looking for a part time Hybrid Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) and Patient Care Technician (PCT) to uphold our excellent customer service and contribute to the patient experience in our La Vista clinic. Join a team that offers you support to grow your career. This job will combine front desk skill along with patient care and support in the clinic.

PCC responsibilities: includes but not limited to: answering phones, scanning, faxing, scheduling, new patient registration, co\-pay collect/over the counter collections, reporting and remote FDC duties as assigned by the front desk supervisor.

PCT responsibilities: include logistics involved with assisting patient care as directed by the Physical Therapist as well as housekeeping duties.

Ideal candidate will be seeking longevity with a growing company, be a self\-starter, should possess excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills, this is important in order to build relationships with patients and the community in order to provide a welcoming environment that is efficient.

Prior medical office or setting experience is a plus

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet patients
  • Effectively communicate patients, families, team members, clinicians and all departments.
  • Provides detailed instructions to patients for their visits.
  • Reviews and evaluates patient charts for data entry accuracy.
  • Work as a team to ensure we have an efficient working environment to ensure that calls are made timely to patients and referral sources.
  • Familiarity with Outpatient Rehabilitation/Medical services and medical terminology.
  • Answering phones
  • Patient registration/data entry
  • Scanning/faxing/other clerical duties
  • Collecting copay's and patient balances
  • Patient scheduling\-Schedule Management
  • Patient Care assistance as needed
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Insurance benefits
