Overview

Faith Farm Ministries, Eastham Home for Women is seeking a highly organized and detail\-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to work in a ministry environment; office management skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software tools. This role offers an opportunity to work in a ministry environment where your multitasking and customer service skills will be valued. The position involves handling administrative tasks, managing intake files, and providing exceptional support to team members and residents in the residential addiction recovery program.

Duties

  • Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and answering multi\-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
  • Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other computer literacy tools for correspondence, reports, and intake documentation
  • Coordinate calendar management and appointment scheduling for staff members
  • Handle intake support inquiries via phone and email with excellent phone etiquette
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks tracking receipts and invoices for Accounting
  • Support office management activities such as supply ordering, mail distribution, and maintaining office equipment
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Experience

  • Previous office experience or clerical experience preferred; experience in ministry or church office roles is a plus
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and strong phone etiquette and empathy for those calling about program information
  • Experience in calendar management, filing systems, and general administrative support roles is preferred
  • This position requires a candidate who is proactive, reliable, and capable of handling various administrative functions efficiently while providing outstanding support to the organization.
  • Pay: From $16\.00 per hour
