Job Summary: The Waiver Program Assistant is responsible for assisting programs related to the Supports for Community Living waiver, Michelle P waiver and Acquired Brain Injury waiver. The Waiver Program Assistant will provide administrative support for the Bluegrass Program Coordinator.
- Aid Coordinator with reviewing staff notes submitted in Oasis, including follow up for adjustments or corrections
- Review and update participant information in Oasis, including goals and objectives, to ensure staff has current resources to provide services
- Participate in participant team meetings (i.e. Plan of Care, meet \& greets), as needed
- Support FHP Program with monthly documentation preparation and filing (i.e. drills, MARs, financial logs, monthly home visits, summaries, updated staff and participant records, etc.)
- Act as liaison with participants, families and/or guardians to provide continued quality of services and share concerns with Program Coordinators for follow up
- Assist with completion of participant forms (i.e. Consents, Releases, Abuse/Neglect), as needed
- Partner with Program Coordinator to review referrals and match appropriate staff with incoming participants, as needed
- Participate in staff training and retraining, as needed
- Confirm with HR that new staff have completed all necessary tasks prior to beginning work
- Coordinate with HR to ensure updated documents (i.e. car insurance, TB Assessments, CEUs) are received from staff
- Communicate with Compliance Specialist regarding participant updates in Oasis

Education/Training: At least a high school diploma or GED is required. Proficiency in MS Office and at least three (3\) years administrative experience preferred. Previous experience working with Medicaid Waivers and/or individuals with disabilities a plus.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Attention to detail, accurate data entry experience, general math knowledge, and solid organizational skills are important. Positive attitude and ability to work independently or in a team environment are essential. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current car insurance are required.
Physical Demands: Individual must be able to sit for long periods, utilize a laptop or desktop computer and phone, bend, reach, and lift up to 20 pounds. This position is in an office environment.
