WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Program Administration Assistant is a non\-exempt position responsible for the day\-to\-day coordination of the Refugee Programs. The position will oversee all direct service aspects of the program, including assisting walk\-ins, intake, data entry, report writing, referrals for services, community outreach, and volunteer and staff recruitment.
- Support the daily operations of the Refugee Integrated Services programs, including Employment and Tiered Case Management.
- Provide administrative and programmatic support to the Program Director and Program Manager, as requested.
- Monitor client service activities related to Refugee Integrated Services and support program alignment with established objectives.
- Support direct service staff, volunteers, and interns through coordination and administrative assistance (no supervisory responsibility).
- Develop and maintain relationships with social service partners to help identify and access additional resources for clients.
- Coordinate all in\-kind donations in collaboration with program staff.
- Support the Program Manager in ensuring assessments, screenings, intakes, service plans, and Family Self\-Sufficiency plans are completed and reflect client needs and goals.
- Maintain organized, accurate client files and documentation in accordance with agency and funder requirements.
- Ensure payments made to or on behalf of clients are accurate and processed in compliance with Gulf Coast JFCS and funder guidelines.
- Support the Program Manager with the preparation of reports for Finance and Programs, as requested.
- Support the Program Manager in maintaining relationships with colleges and universities related to volunteer engagement or training initiatives, as needed.
- Enter, collect, and submit required documentation into Gulf Coast JFCS and funder databases, as directed.
- Assist with planning and coordination of program events, including outreach, educational, and engagement activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma or equivalent; plus, two (2\) years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and life experience
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently with community partners and clients.
- Knowledge of community organization and resources.
- Bilingual, preferably in Dari, Pashto, languages spoken by the client population.
- Knowledge and previous experience in working with interpretation services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work under stressful client situations.
- Ability to lift and/or to carry office supplies, files, household goods, etc. up to 25 lbs. when required.
- Must have a valid drivers' license and current auto insurance coverage.
