Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) (California Only)

We are a private mental health clinic servicing clients all over Southern California. Our focus is providing quality service to clients as well as providing an environment of support for our providers.

We are currently looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team part time. You will see routine Psychiatric patients with mild\-moderate symptoms, ranging from mood disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and bipolar disorders. All these patients are seen through telepsychiatry and the patients are located in California.

Requirements:

• Must be credentialed with Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) \& Anthem Blue Cross
• Must currently have an active license in CA as a PMHNP
• Must have an active unencumbered CA RN and NP license with active and unrestricted DEA license
• Must have a Professional Corporation established
• Applicant must be a resident of California and currently live in California
• Be computer savvy (Knowing how to navigate the internet and basic computer skills)
• Strong verbal in person and virtual communication
• No restriction on participating within health plans
• A plus if you have your own Collaborating Dr

Tasks

• Provides psychiatric services including initial evaluation and perform appropriate follow\-up on patient’s issues as indicated
• Complete Disability, SSI, FMLA evaluations
• Write prescription orders via e\-prescribe.
• Send, receive, and read medical labs
• Maintain accurate and up to date written records (i.e. Intake Evaluations, Progress Notes, etc)
• Maintain appointments, follow up scheduling, and client retention
