The *Technology Director\- Corporate Conferences \& Events
- is responsible for delivering seamless technology experience for corporate events and high‑visibility meetings, both internal and external. This role oversees all technical aspects of event delivery from planning through execution.
- Manage all event technology requirements in partnership with Marketing, Event Planning, and other stakeholder groups.
- Consult with senior stakeholders to determine appropriate technological solutions for conferences \& events
- Ensure successful orchestration and delivery of high‑profile events through effective partnership, planning, technical coordination, dry runs, and execution.
- Oversight and accountability for global break/fix efforts for conference rooms and MTR environments in collaboration with Multimedia Engineering and A/V integrators.
- Provide inputs and influence right technology selection for hybrid event spaces
- Coordinate with event platform vendors and IT teams (e.g., Network, Security) to maintain high event uptime.
- Evaluate and recommend tools for proactive monitoring and device health (e.g., Teams Admin Center, Pro Portal, NEAT Pulse, Crestron Remote Client).
- Oversee A/V support teams (Managed Services, High\-tech A/V support) to track, resolve and report on daily issues, including for over 1200 MTR rooms globally.
- Identify recurring issues and drive systematic improvements in coordination with engineering and integration teams.
- Offer input on Event Platform decisions. Serve as a subject‑matter expert, providing guidance, training, and support for A/V support staff globally.
- 12\+ years of overall experience; 5\+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to work effectively with C\-Suite leadership, high\-profile stakeholders, clients, IT management and staff, and vendors.
- Leadership and organizational skills are needed to prioritize escalations, with the ability to provide feedback to team, vendors.
- Requires an extensive knowledge of A/V technologies and operations, excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong experience with IP networking. CCNP certification preferred.
- Strong experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, SharePoint) for ticket tracking, documentation, daily dashboards.
In close partnership with Marketing, Event Planning teams, and other key stakeholders this role is responsible for leading and ensuring events such as webcasts, board meetings, client engagements, executive town halls, all‑staff meetings, and Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) meetings are executed with a high level of care. The position also provides oversight and guidance to the Chicago high‑touch A/V team and global A/V operators and field teams. The right individual will have a strong track record of successful event support and a deep understanding of the overall audio\-visual technology landscape, and prior experience working closely with adjacent teams such as Security, Network, Multi\-media engineering and leading Event platforms (ON24, Cisco Live Events) or other similar platforms for seamless event management.Job Responsibilities

Salary Range:
$137,400 \- 240,400 USD*Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
