- Provides secretarial and administrative support to Controller’s Office and ESO Offices including, but not limited to, setting\-up and typing correspondence, resolutions, reports, surveys and other documents. Proofreads and edits documents.
- Upon direction of the ESO and/or Controller Offices, prepares and organizes agendas for various meetings including, but not limited to, Building Authority, Materials Management Planning Committee, Environmental Affairs Commission, Farmland and Open Space Agricultural Preservation Board, Opioid Litigation Task Force, and other groups as assigned. Assembles, copies, and distributes meeting support documents and takes and writes minutes as assigned .
- Provides remote access equipment, meeting software, and set up for various meetings that require a remote option for attendees.
- Pays invoices for the ESO, and other projects, offices, and agreements as assigned as well as other financial tracking projects.
- Assists and works with the Assistant to the Controller/Broadband Coordinator to launch, advertise, conduct initial reviews, and other necessary and/or assigned duties relating to the ESO and Controller’s Offices data informed processes and projects.
- Responsible for general administrative and clerical support functions including but not limited to, scheduling of meetings, mailings, creating labels and files, proofreading documents, and assisting with special events, including promotional and public relations support and processes.
- Answers telephone and routes calls to appropriate individuals, receives and screens visitors. Assists in researching issues by calling other offices within the County and collecting and compiling information, including listserv maintenance, regulation, and contact via electronic means.
- Maintains and audits office electronic and physical filing systems and provides other general administrative/clerical support including data entry, collection, and tracking systems.
- Supports and executes other duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must adhere to departmental standards in regard to confidentiality including but not limited to HIPAA.
- During a public health emergency, the employee may be required to perform duties similar to but not limited to those in his/her job description.

- Valid Michigan driver’s license. Ability to travel independently to various meeting and event locations as required in the performance of job duties.
- Occasional evening or weekend availability for public meetings or events.

- Sitting, walking, standing, bending over and lifting/holding/carrying objects found in an office environment.
- Ability to communicate and respond to co\-worker and customer inquiries both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to operate a PC/laptop and to enter \& retrieve information from a computer.
- Ability to handle varying and often high levels of stress.
- The work environment is a typical office setting where sensory experience includes uniform temperatures, conversational noise and everyday office activities.
Under supervision of the Assistant to the Controller/Broadband Coordinator and the Environmental Sustainability Director, this position provides a variety of clerical support services for both the Controller/Administrator’s Office and the Environmental Sustainability Office (ESO). These duties include but are not limited to accounts payable, contracts, data processing and entry, research, and committee preparation, support, and execution as well as other general administrative support functions.

Employment Qualifications
Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with some college\-level course work in Public Administration, Business, Data Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field is required. Experience: A minimum of two years of secretarial or related administrative experience is required. Experience working in government, education, or nonprofit organizations is desirable.
Experience in fast\-paced note\-taking and minutes recording preferred. Other Requirements:
