The Kind of Work You'll be Doing:
- Coordinate USDEV department\-wide and team leader meetings and retreats as well as the Development Directors' calls and conferences. Take notes, disseminate pertinent information, and help drive follow\-through on action steps.
- Participate in team leader meetings, collaborate with the Director on setting strategic direction, priorities, and processes, and then help execute action plans.
- Manage U.S. Development Director's correspondence, phone calls, email, and calendar. Respond on behalf of the U.S. Development Director when appropriate.
- Review and proof documents, records, and forms for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to applicable guidelines.
- Help manage the U.S. Development Director's relationships with other staff and leaders throughout the ministry.
- Keep documentation updated for office operations, disaster plans, organizational charts, department rosters, fire drill procedures, email distribution lists (for USDEV and the Development Directors), etc.
- Supervise maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement, and work orders related to housekeeping and maintenance concerns.
- Ensure recognition programs are implemented and maintained in order to achieve high morale among team members in USDEV. Maintain a list of department birthdays, anniversaries, etc. and send cards, gifts, and flowers to acknowledge various life events. Develop creative ways to care for remote staff.
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of correspondence, agendas, memoranda, reports, newsletters, and other materials of a confidential nature from the U.S. Development Director to development staff and Cru leaders.
- Coordinate USDEV devotional times, team meetings, and events. Reserve rooms, coordinate meals, provide materials, etc.
- Set up appointments with donors as needed and record a summary of the U.S. Development Director's interactions with donors in Cru's enterprise CRM system (Siebel).

Experience and Skills:
