Hourly Pay Range:
$17\.00 \- $58\.00 \- The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
- Position: Pilates Instructor
- Location: Galter Life Center, Chicago, IL
- Part time, 10 weekly hours
- Hours: Days, evenings, weekends possible based on client availability
- Take attendance for each class. Record attendance numbers in the Motion Vibe system if applicable.
- Collect appropriate paperwork from participants (HH forms, waiver, Physician Clearance).
- Follow subbing policies as directed by supervisor. Pass out evaluations at end of class.
- Arrive 5\-10 minutes early to set up for class. Finish on time, clean and put away any equipment.
- Upon being matched with a client, make a call within 24 hours to set up appointment.
- Complete paperwork (Health History, Waiver) and assess client’s current fitness status.
- Perform administrative duties: Arrange for timely payments, maintain accurate session records in Jonas software, follow policies for private sessions (24 hr cancellation policy).
- Timecard information should be turned in on Saturday prior to payroll.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Dance, or related field is preferred.
- Certification: Guild/Romana’s Certified in Pilates Method or another related certification from an accredited organization with 300\-600 hours of training. CPR/AED and First Aid Certified
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching privates is preferred.
