HHM CPAs is searching for a full\-time Billing Assistant to help with clerical, administrative, and personnel requests year round. This position will be critical to supporting the billing and administrative team through all critical tax and audit busy seasons.
This position is an hourly role with overtime availability required.
*This role is on\-site in Chattanooga, TN.*
Responsibilities:
- Assisting billing team in various data entry, administrative, and clerical tasks
- Proofreading documents for formatting, grammar, and typos
- Data entry into various database systems
- Preparing envelopes to mail to clients
- Generating and preparing client invoices
- Acting as support staff for engagement letters and new client onboarding
- Diligently saving files in appropriate systems so as to ensure best record keeping practices
- 1\-2 years of experience in a billing or equivalent function is *preferred*
- Ability to maintain and consistent work pace throughout the day
- Ability to manage your time appropriately
- Proficiency in modern technology tools such as MS 365
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
