We are seeking a highly motivated and detail\-oriented Senior Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal administrative support across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, litigation, and tribal law.
- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to assist attorneys with case preparation and strategy.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage case files and document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure accurate and efficient organization of case materials.
- Assist with client interviews and gather relevant information for case development while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Perform data entry, filing, and document review while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a fast\-paced law office setting.
- Utilize legal software such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and document management systems to streamline research and case handling processes.
- Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing communications via phone etiquette, and organizing meetings or hearings.
- Conduct legal research across various practice areas including immigration law, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, landlord\-tenant law, securities law, family law, tribal regulations, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and more.
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in multiple practice areas such as real estate, litigation, personal injury, family law, business law.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast\-paced environment.
- Proficiency in legal research platforms including Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with Smokeball is highly desirable.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents; strong proofreading and transcription abilities.
- Familiarity with document review processes and case management systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Experience supporting attorneys with project management tasks such as tracking deadlines and coordinating case workflows.
- Strong clerical skills including data entry, filing systems management, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions.
- Ability to conduct interviews effectively while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality across diverse client interactions.
