Responsibilities
- Assist with leasing activities, including property tours, application processing, and lease signings to maximize occupancy rates
- Support compliance with LIHTC (Low\-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations, Section 8 housing programs, and Fair Housing laws by maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Manage tenant relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and addressing inquiries promptly to foster positive community experiences
- Coordinate property maintenance requests, schedule inspections, and ensure timely resolution of issues using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
- Conduct data entry, filing, and administrative tasks related to lease agreements, legal documents, and tenant files with precision and confidentiality
- Assist with rent collection processes, upselling available units or services to prospects and residents to enhance revenue opportunities
- Support legal administrative functions including lease contracts, notices, and legal compliance related to landlord\-tenant law
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property leasing and customer service
- Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord\-tenant law
- Proficiency with property management systems such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills demonstrating professional phone etiquette and customer relationship management abilities
- Ability to handle conflict management situations effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
- Office experience involving contracts, legal documentation, facilities management or related administrative tasks
