    • Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at the front desk
    • Manage multi\-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently
    • Schedule appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth
    • Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring accurate billing processes
    • Collect and review medical documentation, including care plans and medical history forms
    • Maintain and organize medical records using systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing patient intake forms
    • Support medical billing and coding processes by understanding CPT codes, ICD\-10/ICD\-9 coding, and medical terminology
    • Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and patient flow
    • Handle administrative support duties such as appointment reminders, follow\-up calls, and documentation review

    • Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administrative support with clinic or dental office experience
    • Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
    • Familiarity with medical billing procedures, insurance verification, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD\-10/ICD\-9\), and Medicare processes
    • Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; bilingual abilities are a plus
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with typing skills including 10\-key typing for data entry accuracy
    • Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
    • Experience working with multi\-line phone systems and managing front desk operations in a healthcare setting
