As a temporary Human Resource Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for managing a variety of personnel\-related tasks and will provide support to the People Operations department and SAFY employees regarding human resources\-related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. As a member of this team, you will build working relationships with candidates and new SAFY employees, complete HRIS data entry, manage the electronic files and other administrative duties.
* Seeking a temporary full\-time/on\-site preferred, but flexibility for remote/part\-time opportunities may be available for a minimum of 14 weeks.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinates and manages the administrative needs for the People Operations Department and assists the team with various projects
- Managing the tracking, follow up and electronic filing of all new hire paperwork
- Manage electronic employee records and maintain, update and audit internal employee files ensuring information is accurate, up‐to‐date, and comprehensive
- Ensure all new hires complete the required 1\-9 Verification documentation in a timely manner
- Performs pre‐employment onboarding and candidate communication activities such as but not limited to background checks and completing any internal documentation.
- Draft offer letters, communicates important employment information
- Responsible for internal communication regarding new hires, terms, and other employee updates
- Responsible for assisting with compliance and contractual audits
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements for improving data quality and process efficiencies
- Navigation, reporting and basic troubleshooting in HRIS
- Sensitive and responsive to the cultural differences of staff, SAFY youth, foster parents and external vendors
- Other duties or special projects as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Higher education and/or applicable experience preferred.
- Minimum 1\-2 years of relevant work experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to multi\-task.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure. Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information.
- Knowledge of Microsoft, ADP Workforce Now, learning management systems and other online systems is helpful.
- Targeted hiring range: $18\.00 \- $23\.00
- Compensation is commensurate with transferable experience, education and licensure of candidate, location of the position, along with internal equity and budgeted amount for the role.
