Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team by supporting physicians and nurse practitioners and ensuring that our patients receive high quality care. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinic activities and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and managing patient flow
  • Take and record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies
  • Supply
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Back up\-front desk support
  • Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant
  • Previous experience in a medical/healthcare or integrative wellness setting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Skilled in phlebotomy and venipuncture; experienced in performing blood draws with high patient comfort and accuracy preferred.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with computer systems and EMR software (experience with “OptiMantra” a plus).
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment.
  • Compassionate and patient\-centered approach to customer service.
