- Assist in managing leasing processes, including property tours, application processing, and lease signing, with a focus on upselling available units and amenities
- Support compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and other federal/state housing programs
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, lease agreements, and legal documents using AppFolio property management software
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management activities to ensure optimal living conditions
- Handle customer service interactions via phone and in person, addressing resident inquiries and resolving conflicts with professionalism and tact
- Support rent collection efforts, including tracking payments, processing payments through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and following up on delinquencies
- Assist with legal administrative tasks related to landlord\-tenant law, lease contracts, and eviction procedures when necessary
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on multifamily housing
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, and landlord\-tenant law
- Proficiency in AppFolio property management software for data entry and reporting
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with effective conflict management and negotiation abilities
- Office experience including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and legal administrative tasks
- Familiarity with property leasing processes and upselling techniques to maximize occupancy rates
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of facilities management practices and basic property maintenance coordination is preferred
