Job Overview
At Region Scoopers, we keep Northwest Indiana yards clean and families happy by taking care of the one chore nobody wants to do: scooping dog poop. We’re a fast\-growing, family\-owned company, and we’re looking for a Work From Home Office Administrator to help us manage calls, leads, routing, and day\-to\-day operations.
If you’re organized, great on the phone, and like the idea of supporting a small team that actually cares, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the “control tower” for our field team and customers:
- Answer inbound calls, texts, and online inquiries from new and existing customers
- Work warm leads: send quotes, explain services and pricing, overcome simple objections, and help new recurring customers
- Text and call leads who requested quotes but haven’t scheduled yet
- Schedule and update routes for our technicians using our software (training provided)
- Adjust routes daily for weather, PTO, cancellations, and new bookings to keep drive time efficient
- Update customer accounts: notes, dog details, gate codes, billing preferences, service frequency
- Handle basic billing tasks: process payments, follow up on failed payments with text/email templates, update account status
- Support customer service: reschedule visits, handle simple complaints, and make sure customers feel taken care of
- Help with simple admin projects as the company grows
- A quiet room where you can take calls without background noise
- Headset with microphone suitable for clear phone calls
- Reliable high\-speed internet: at least 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload
- Computer capable of running multiple apps at once, minimum:
- Processor: Intel i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 (or equivalent) or better
- RAM: 8 GB minimum (16 GB preferred)
- Operating system: Windows 10\+ or macOS 11\+
- Able to run multiple browser tabs, VoIP/phone app, CRM, email, and messaging at the same time without lag
- Prior experience in office admin, customer service, dispatch, or inside sales is preferred but not required
- Comfortable on the phone and via text; clear, friendly, and professional communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists and scripts
- Tech\-comfortable: can learn new software (we’ll train you on our tools)
- Organized and able to juggle multiple tasks without dropping balls
- Must be comfortable talking about dogs and… dog poop (that’s the job).
- Job Type: Full\-time, Work From Home
- Pay: From $16\.00 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule:
- Typically Monday–Friday daytime hours (Central Time)
- Occasional weekend or evening coverage during our busy spring rush

- Stable, year\-round work with a growing local brand
- Paid time off
- Do you have a quiet, dedicated workspace at home where you can take calls?
- What type of computer do you use (Windows/Mac, processor, and RAM if you know it)?
- Do you have high\-speed internet of at least 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload?
- Do you have prior experience with phone\-based customer service, dispatch, or office administration? If yes, briefly describe.
