Licensed Practical Nurse

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Licensed Practical Nurse located in Marshall, MO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for \_\_\_\_\_\_\_. Pay Rate: $40/hr Location: Marshall, MO Schedule: 6pm to 6am Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday Job Duties: Nursing direct care position accountable for assisting 3 clients with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, bed making, shaving, dressing, and other related tasks. Assists in checking vital signs, height, and weight as assigned; collects and maintains records of fluid intake and output; and reports on the condition of the clients. Responsible for providing daily and as needed trach care to one of the individuals residing in the home to include changing the inner cannula, changing the straps on the trach, suctioning as needed. Suction would include suction at the opening of the trach and orally along with deep suction. They would also work with his humidification, applying HME before showers or if going on an outing. Position would also assist with care for the g\-tube and suprapubic catheter as well. Position would also do his nebulizer treatments, blood sugar checks, and possibly insulin depending on his glucose level. Position may also be responsible for passing medications to all individuals in the home.
