Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Controller will own the day\-to\-day accounting function, including the general ledger, month\-end close, balance\-sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, audit readiness, and leadership of assigned Finance staff. This is a hands\-on leadership role for a strong technical accountant who can independently manage complex accounting issues, strengthen processes and controls, and develop an accountable accounting team. What You’ll Do Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and preparation of accurate, GAAP\-compliant financial statements. Oversee the general ledger, balance\-sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, debt, payroll accounting, and other significant accounting activity. Lead, develop, and hold accountable assigned Finance and accounting staff. Improve accounting systems, workflows, documentation, and processes to increase accuracy and efficiency. Provide reliable financial information to support forecasting, cash planning, Board reporting, and executive decision\-making. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Progressive accounting experience with responsibility for financial reporting, general ledger, month\-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls.
