Office Manager \| Management Training Provided Live Your Life Integrated Health \| Erie, Colorado Approximately 20 hours/week Live Your Life Integrated Health is hiring our next Office Manager to help lead our small, energetic integrated healthcare practice. Because we believe an effective manager needs to truly understand the business they are leading, this position begins with several months of hands\-on training in our administrative systems, patient experience, workflows, team structure, and day\-to\-day operations before transitioning into formal management training. This is an Office Manager position, not a long\-term front desk position. The initial administrative phase is intentionally designed to give our future manager a strong understanding of how the practice works from the ground up. Our ideal candidate: You are a strategic thinker, a strong implementer, and an effective delegator. You know how to move an idea from concept to action without feeling like you have to personally do every part yourself. You can see the bigger picture, create a plan, get things moving, and figure out what should be handled by you, what should be delegated to someone else, and what needs follow\-up to make sure it actually gets done. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our team, develop into a strong leader, and grow with our practice for many years. Prior management experience is a major plus, but it is not required. Strong leadership potential, initiative, communication skills, problem\-solving ability, and follow\-through matter just as much to us. The Initial Training Phase You will begin by learning our administrative systems and day\-to\-day office operations. The regular schedule during this phase is approximately 20 hours per week, generally 8:15 AM–12:15 PM Monday through Friday, at our Erie office. The first few weeks of training may follow a different schedule depending on trainer availability. Responsibilities will include: Welcoming and assisting patients Answering phones, texts, emails, and patient questions Scheduling and checking patients in and out Collecting payments Learning basic insurance and billing workflows Supporting our chiropractors, acupuncturist, massage therapists, and functional medicine services Maintaining accurate patient information and administrative documentation Following established SOPs and office systems Helping with office organization and light cleaning Identifying problems and helping find solutions Supporting a positive, energetic team environment We expect our administrative team to use available resources, think critically, ask good questions, communicate clearly, and follow tasks through to completion. We don't want someone who simply learns, “This is how we've always done it.” We want someone who learns why we do things, notices when something could work better, and becomes comfortable bringing forward thoughtful solutions. Transition Into Management Our goal is for the employee to spend approximately 4–6 months learning and mastering the administrative side of the practice before moving into our Manager\-in\-Training phase. Progression into management is based on demonstrated performance. We will be looking for strong knowledge of our systems, sound judgment, initiative, problem\-solving ability, follow\-through, leadership potential, and the ability to effectively lead others. The Manager\-in\-Training phase is expected to last approximately three months before transitioning into the full Office Manager role. The eventual Office Manager will help: Lead and support the administrative team Work directly with practitioners to understand their numbers, set goals, and implement strategies to improve performance Support communication and accountability across the practitioner team Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability for the outcome Prioritize projects, determine who should own them, and follow up to ensure they are completed Turn ideas and goals into actionable plans Improve office systems and workflows Create, implement, and maintain SOPs Train and onboard team members Identify recurring problems, determine root causes, and develop solutions Address problems proactively rather than waiting for them to escalate Make progress and sound decisions even when every detail is not perfectly clear Track, understand, and help improve Key Performance Indicators, office benchmarks, and measurable business goals Use data and trends to identify areas that need attention rather than relying only on day\-to\-day impressions Hold team members accountable to established expectations Support business growth and develop referral relationships within the community Help move ideas and projects from discussion to actual completion Know when to handle an issue independently and when something truly needs to be escalated to the owner A big part of successful leadership in this role is understanding that being responsible for an outcome does not mean personally doing every task required to achieve it. We want someone who can look at a goal or problem and think: What needs to happen? Who is the right person to do it? What do they need from me? When does it need to be completed? And how will I make sure it actually gets done? Management hours remain approximately 20 hours per week but may become more flexible based on office needs and opportunities for remote administrative work. We are looking for someone interested in a long\-term career with our practice, ideally five years or longer. Our hope is to find someone who can grow into a lasting leadership role within Live Your Life. You May Be a Great Fit If You: Are warm, approachable, and comfortable talking with people Bring positive energy to a room Are organized, dependable, and naturally follow through Are willing to initiate conversations rather than waiting for someone else Communicate clearly and professionally with different personalities Can give and receive feedback well Enjoy being part of a small team where everyone pitches in Are curious, resourceful, and willing to look for answers Enjoy learning, improving, and taking on greater responsibility Are interested in health, wellness, or integrative healthcare Experience working with KPIs, business metrics, team goals, scorecards, or performance dashboards is a strong plus. We're less interested in finding someone who has already held the exact title of “Office Manager” and more interested in finding someone with the mindset, leadership potential, and capabilities to become an excellent one. Compensation First 30 days: $19\.50/hour during the introductory training period After successful completion of the introductory training period: $21\.50/hour Office Manager compensation: $24–$27/hour after successful completion of the management\-development process, based on performance, readiness, responsibilities, and business needs. We believe compensation growth should reflect increasing responsibility and measurable contribution to the practice. Someone who demonstrates exceptional leadership and creates significant, measurable impact for the business will have the opportunity to grow beyond this range over time. Future raises and bonuses are based on performance and contribution rather than simply time in the position. Benefits 50 hours of accrued sick leave PTO after one year of employment SIMPLE retirement plan after eligibility requirements are met Potential end\-of\-year performance bonus Employee pricing on services and products offered through our office About Live Your Life Integrated Health At Live Your Life Integrated Health, we believe healthcare should help people actually live their lives better.
