Senior Project Manager – Federal \& Healthcare Construction MGI, Inc. is one of the fastest\-growing healthcare construction contractors in the nation, specializing in complex projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs and other federal and healthcare clients. MGI is the contract owner and GC on all projects, however, we self perform specialty trades including fire alarm and life safety systems, medical gas systems, mechanical construction, and related specialty scopes in highly regulated, occupied, and technically demanding environments. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with extensive Procore experience who is capable of taking ownership of large, complex construction projects from pre\-construction to closeout. This is a senior\-level position for someone who understands that successful project management means controlling the contract, schedule, cost, client relationship, subcontractors, documentation, and field execution. Qualifications Must have healthcare construction experience 5\+ years of Procore experience 10\+ years of commercial construction PM experience Experience managing projects in the $10M–$50M\+ range Demonstrated experience managing large or technically complex construction projects Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, change management, and subcontractor management Proven ability to manage projects with significant subcontractor and field coordination requirements Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation Experience managing project financials and maintaining accurate cost\-to\-complete forecasts Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced, high\-growth organization Highly Preferred Experience Federal construction Government Contracting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) projects USACE or other federal agency projects Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) contracting environments Mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, life safety, or medical gas construction Occupied hospital renovations Large\-scale design\-build projects Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms Responsibilities Provide administrative and organizational leadership at the project level. Manage multiple complex healthcare and federal construction projects using procore. Use procore to develop and manage budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, procurement plans, and manpower requirements Maintain complete financial ownership of assigned projects, including cost\-to\-complete forecasting, committed costs, billing, and margin performance Review contracts, specifications, drawings, scopes of work, and subcontractor agreements Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, correspondence, meeting minutes, notices, and other project documentation Identify scope gaps, design conflicts, schedule impacts, and potential changes before they negatively affect the project Prepare, price, negotiate, and execute change orders Manage subcontractors and vendors for performance, schedule, quality, and contractual compliance Coordinate closely with project superintendents and field leadership to ensure successful execution Develop and maintain relationships with owners, contracting officers, CORs, design teams, inspectors, and other project stakeholders Participate in OAC, progress, coordination, and scheduling meetings Maintain accurate project schedules and actively manage critical\-path activities Oversee procurement of major equipment and long\-lead materials Manage monthly billings, schedule of values, subcontractor payments, and project cash flow Ensure projects comply with contract requirements, applicable codes, safety requirements, and quality standards Maintain thorough documentation of delays, disruptions, differing site conditions, owner\-directed changes, and other impacts Lead project closeout, including punch lists, testing, commissioning, training, O\&M documentation, as\-builts, and final acceptance Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project staff Provide executive leadership with accurate reporting on project financials, schedule, risk, and overall performance Why MGI?
