Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve How you'll contribute: A Senior Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who excels in this role: Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care provided. Administers injections, vaccines, medications, and other treatments as directed by the physician. Demonstrates advanced phlebotomy skills and specimen collection techniques. Requests, obtains, and reviews patient records, test results, and laboratory reports prior to patient visits. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination rooms and clinical areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient care. Cleans and sterilizes instruments according to established procedures. Retrieves and returns patient phone calls in a timely manner and communicates information as directed by providers. Performs administrative and clerical duties including scheduling, patient registration, filing, data entry, and reception activities. Assists with coordinating clinic workflow, patient follow\-up activities, and provider support functions. Participates in quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives. Monitors compliance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures and reports concerns through the appropriate chain of command. Maintains open communication with providers, leadership, and team members to ensure efficient clinic operations. Serves as a resource and mentor for less experienced staff members while promoting a positive team environment. Shift: M\-F 8:00A\-5:00P What we're looking for: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required; Graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent Required License: CCMA, CMA or RMA Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 60 days of hire. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant Six Months Phlebotomy Experience Experience coordinating clinic operations, inventory management, patient follow\-up, or provider support activities.
