Kennel Technician

Pets \& Pals Animal Shelter is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate individual to join our small, hardworking team. This is a role where you will spend your time directly caring for our animals and helping them find their forever homes through public outreach and administrative support. The Role This is a physically active, hands\-on position. You will be the primary caregiver for our residents and the face of our shelter for potential adopters. Key Responsibilities: Animal Care: Feeding, cleaning kennels, and providing daily enrichment for dogs and cats. Medical Support: Administering vaccinations and medications (training provided). Adoptions: Engaging with the public, introducing pets to families, and educating potential owners on specific care requirements. What We Are Looking For Passion: A genuine love for animals and a commitment to a "no\-kill" philosophy. Resilience: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a fast pace. Communication: Excellent "people skills" to handle both excited adopters and difficult conversations with grace. Requirements: A clean driving record and a high level of reliability. Schedule \& Location Hours: Sunday\-Thursday, 9 am \- 5 pm. Note: Sundays are a mandatory requirement for this position. Location: Lathrop, CA, on\-site only. Why Join Us?
