Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, and other tax returns using advanced tax preparation software. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws by staying current on relevant regulations and updates. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information, explain tax strategies, and answer questions about their filings. Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimize deductions and credits while minimizing liabilities. Maintain organized records of all tax documents, reports, and correspondence for audit readiness. Support client acquisition efforts through marketing initiatives and building strong relationships based on trust and professionalism. Skills No experience needed Extensive experience in tax preparation software such as Taxslayer or TaxWise. Strong understanding of tax law, compliance requirements, and reporting standards for various entities including individuals and corporations. Solid knowledge of accounting principles, public accounting practices, and financial concepts relevant to taxation. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly and professionally. Able to attend training.
