JOB SUMMARY The Regional Director provides strategic and operational leadership for a portfolio of adolescent residential mental health treatment facilities within an assigned region. This role ensures consistent delivery of high\-quality, trauma\- informed, youth\-centered clinical care across all sites; drives regulatory and accreditation compliance; oversees regional financial and operational performance; and directly supervises facility\-level Executive Directors and Program Directors. The Regional Director serves as the key link between facility operations and executive leadership, ensuring the region's programs meet clinical, safety, and business objectives. QUALIFICATIONS Thorough knowledge of adolescent behavioral health management principles, clinical systems and operations, billing and collections, quality assurance, and regulatory/accreditation agency requirements across multiple facilities. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold accountable multiple facility\-level Executive Directors and Program Directors. Excellent communication, problem\-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. Ability to travel frequently between facilities within the region. Ability to work flexible hours, including availability for facility emergencies and after\-hours consultation. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic health record/clinical documentation systems. At least 21 years of age. Must pass multi\-state background check Must have a current TB test, CPR/First Aid certification, and health screening. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in behavioral health, psychology, social work, healthcare administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in adolescent residential or behavioral healthcare, including at least 2 years overseeing multiple sites or programs. Experience with licensing surveys, The Joint Commission, and state/federal regulatory audits across multiple locations. Independent or group home license (as applicable to state requirements). ESSENTIAL DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES Provide direct leadership, supervision, and support to Executive Directors and Program Directors across all facilities in the region. Lead, inspire, and support clinical and administrative teams’ region\-wide to deliver effective, youth\-centered treatment services. Serve as the primary liaison between regional facilities and the executive leadership, providing regular updates on operations, outcomes, risks, and strategic initiatives. Ensure adherence to best practices in adolescent mental health treatment across all sites, including trauma\- informed care, family systems approaches, and individualized care planning. Monitor and standardize policies, procedures, and program parameters across facilities to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance region\-wide. Oversee regional census, occupancy, and admissions trends, and partner with facility leadership to develop strategies to meet growth and utilization targets. Review regional financial performance, including budgets, staffing costs, and revenue cycle metrics, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency. Ensure licensing and accreditation standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, state licensing, and federal regulations) are consistently met across all facilities in the region. Participate in and oversee regional quality assurance, utilization review, and critical incident review activities. Monitor clinical outcomes, critical incidents, grievances, and client/family satisfaction across the region to inform program development. Collaborate with Clinical Directors and medical staff at each facility to evaluate program effectiveness and promote continuous quality improvement. Support facility leadership in recruiting, developing, and retaining qualified clinical and administrative staff; ensure regulatory staffing patterns are maintained region\-wide. Ensure staff across all facilities are trained in relevant clinical modalities, safety procedures, crisis prevention, and cultural competency. Provide on\-call support for regional emergencies, escalations, and consultations, and coordinate crisis response across facilities as needed. Facilitate consistent interdepartmental and inter\-facility communication, including regular leadership meetings and regional reporting. Review client records and treatment documentation practices across facilities to ensure quality and compliance. Support HR in maintaining accurate personnel documentation and compliance across all facilities in the region. Make compensation, staffing, and resource allocation recommendations across facilities, as applicable. Create and support a positive, professional, team\-oriented, harassment\-free work environment region\-wide by understanding and complying with company policies. Promote a positive organizational culture rooted in respect, inclusion, collaboration, and ongoing learning across all facilities. Support new facility openings, expansions, or program launches within the region, as applicable.
