Chief Operating Officer

We are conducting a retained search for a Chief Operating Officer on behalf of a private equity-backed industrial services platform in a period of accelerated growth through acquisition and organic expansion. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will hold enterprise-wide accountability for operational performance, integration execution, and the scalability of the operating model across a multi-site national footprint. This is a succession-visible seat. The successful candidate will operate as the CEO's primary partner in translating the investment thesis into operational results, with regular exposure to the sponsor and the board. Key Responsibilities Direct all field and corporate operations across the platform, owning performance against EBITDA, safety, and service-level commitments Lead post-acquisition integration, including operational diligence support, first-100-day execution, and synergy realization against underwriting assumptions Architect the operating infrastructure required to scale, including systems, standardized processes, and management cadence across sites Build, assess, and upgrade the operational leadership bench, from regional leaders to site general managers Partner with the CFO on capital deployment, margin improvement initiatives, and the operational inputs to board and lender reporting Represent operations in quarterly board sessions, owning the narrative on execution, risk, and value creation progress What You Bring 20+ years of progressive operations leadership, including a prior COO, President, or equivalent enterprise operating role Full P&L accountability at $150M+ revenue scale across multi-site or multi-region operations Demonstrated success operating within a private equity hold period, including board and sponsor engagement A record of leading acquisition integration from close through synergy capture Undergraduate degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred Compensation: $350K-$575K base, annual incentive, and meaningful equity participation Please mention the word BLISSFULLY and tag RMTcyLjE3Mi4xNTguMA== when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMTcyLjE3Mi4xNTguMA==).
