Job Description Description of Position: The Department of Chemistry at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar position specializing in Chemical Biology to work in the Laboratory of Dr. Yftah Tal\-Gan, Professor of Chemistry. The interdisciplinary project will focus on the utilization of chemical and biological tools to interrogate bacterial communications both within and between bacterial species. Information about the lab can be found at https://talgan.wixsite.com/researchgroup . Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or closely related field. Completion of a doctoral degree in the appropriate discipline is required. The doctoral degree must have been completed within the five years immediately preceding the first date of appointment as a postdoctoral fellow at the University. The individual cannot have held previous positions in the professional ranks.
