Studio Manager

Key note: this is a small business. We are 1\.5yrs in and looking to grow a Christian business serving high level professionals like doctors, pilots, lawyers, CEO’s, accountants. We are currently doing this already and have an editing team as well as an assistant to help jackson the founder who is 27yrs old. This experience is not like most others. You’ll be able to make key pivotal decisions that can change the business and have hands on experience growing a small business. This also means your role may be dynamic and you must be flexible. As we grow, by God’s grace, roles will only become more clear and defined. \\Reports to:\\ Jackson (Founder/Director) and Danielle (Executive Assistant) \#\# About Clearview Studio Clearview Studio is a full\-service, turn\-key podcast production business based in West Palm Beach. We produce content and build production infrastructure for a roster of health, longevity, faith, and entrepreneurship\-focused clients and shows — from multicam podcast recordings to full AV systems integration projects. We're growing past the "founder does everything" phase, and this role is central to that next chapter. \#\# The Role We're looking for a Studio Manager to take full ownership of day\-to\-day studio operations and become a real partner in how Clearview runs and grows — not just an assistant executing a task list. This is a full\-time, hands\-on, in\-studio role that replaces and expands on what our current part\-time studio assistant has handled, adding operational leadership, creative input, and physical space management to the mix. You should want to be invested in this company long\-term — someone who sees inefficiencies and fixes them, sees opportunities and raises them, and treats the studio like it's theirs to improve. \#\# What You'll Own \\Studio Operations\\ \- Run day\-to\-day studio logistics: scheduling, recording day setup/breakdown, equipment checks \- Manage our Sony FX30 multicam setup and Riverside streaming workflow for shoots \- Own NAS file management and transfer verification (Synology DS925\), and maintain remote access infrastructure (Tailscale) currently handled by our part\-time studio assistant \- Keep SOPs current and make sure the team (Jay Mark, studio assistant, contractors) is actually following them — and improve them when they're not working \\Physical Space\\ \- Manage the studio as a physical environment — layout, equipment organization, cleanliness, client\-facing presentation \- Identify and drive improvements to the space (workflow bottlenecks, storage, lighting, comfort, capacity for new use cases) \- Coordinate facilities issues (AC, maintenance, vendor visits) end to end \\Creative \& Business Ideation\\ \- Sit in on strategy conversations and contribute real ideas — not just take notes \- Help develop new service offerings, studio capabilities, or client experience improvements \- Bring outside perspective on how the studio could be used, packaged, or marketed differently \- Partner on capacity planning and utilization — we're currently running around 30% studio utilization and looking for someone who wants to help solve that, not just report it \\Team \& Client Support\\ \- Be the on\-the\-ground point of contact for clients and contractors during shoots \- Support onboarding/prep for productions (run\-of\-show, cut sheets, gear checks) \- Work directly with Jay Mark on production\-to\-post handoffs Who You Are \- 2–4\+ years of hands\-on production experience — photography, videography, freelancing, or assisting on set. Experience specifically on podcast sets is a strong plus \- You want a full\-time role you can grow into, not a gig \- You're technically capable (comfortable with cameras, audio, networking basics, file systems) but not purely technical — you think about operations and people too \- You take initiative without being told — you notice what's broken and fix it or flag it \- You're organized enough to run recurring logistics without dropping balls \- You want a seat at the table on where this business goes, and you're willing to earn it by showing up with ideas and follow\-through \- Bonus: experience in video/podcast production, AV/systems integration, or small business operations Why This Role This isn't a "hold down the fort" position. Clearview is actively expanding — new service lines, larger systems integration projects, and bigger studio utilization plans are already in motion.
