Inventory & Customer Service Assistant

Shore Décor has been providing folks on the Crystal Coast with home furnishings and decorative accessories for over 26 years. We’re looking for someone with data entry and inventory processing experience who has a gift for customer service and a great deal of common sense. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, carry and climb ladders up to 8 feet high, and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance Ability to stand for eight\-hour shift Excellent customer service and staff support skills including timeliness, patience, and courtesy Proficient with computers, spreadsheets, word processing and email including scanning and attaching files Ability to follow direction and work with minimal supervision High school diploma or GED \& basic math and numerical reasoning skills Friendly manner with excellent oral and written communication skills Mastery of basic English grammar and punctuation Flexibility to work variable hours including evenings and weekends Valid driver’s license with five years of driving experience Excellent driving record (no DUIs, suspensions or revocations in the last seven years) Ability to work weekends Must pass background check and pre\-employment drug screen Key Responsibilities: Data entry, label and sign creation Perform inventory counts, make adjustments, create orders, stock items on sales floor Unbox, inspect, verify, label, sort and sign in received merchandise Optimize both sales and profit through proper pricing strategies· Maximize sales, profit, and customer experience by maintaining the flow of product from warehouse to sales floor Report damage, file and manage claims for damages and discrepancies with vendors and freight lines Communicate effectively with all other team members Support and model excellent service and teamwork Cashiering, customer service, and team member support as needed Closing, counting, reconciliation and posting of register drawers Maintain store organization, safety, and cleanliness Other duties as assigned FULL LENGTH APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE AT SHORE DECOR, 5167 HWY 70W, Morehead City, NC 28557\. 252\-727\-0001\.
