This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing details, and supporting a small team through a combination of administrative and hands\-on operational work. Position Summary The Welcome Company is seeking a detail\-oriented Operations Assistant to support day\-to\-day administrative and operational activities. This role works closely with leadership and team members to help keep projects organized, vendor communications on track, materials prepared, and business information up to date. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable managing recurring responsibilities while helping ensure important tasks are completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities/Vendor Communication \& Administrative Support Assist with vendor communications, including reports, reminders, onboarding follow\-ups, and inventory reorder notices Track vendor responses, outstanding items, and ensure timely follow\-ups are completed Maintain onboarding checklists, records, and administrative tracking systems Request, organize, and manage required vendor forms, approvals, and documentation Website \& Content Updates Maintain accurate vendor profiles and business information on the company website Add newly onboarded vendors and update existing listings as needed Upload logos, descriptions, events, and other approved content Materials \& Logistics Support Assemble boxes, marketing materials, and operational supplies Unbox, sort, and organize incoming materials Prepare materials for deliveries, events, and other operational activities Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas Verify materials are complete and ready for use Ideal Candidate You may be a great fit if you: Enjoy supporting a team by keeping information and tasks organized Communicate professionally and follow through consistently Are comfortable learning new systems, software, and processes Can work independently while taking direction and supporting team priorities Take pride in being dependable, organized, and proactive Enjoy a mix of office\-based administrative work and hands\-on operational tasks Qualifications/Required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional written communication skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and recurring tasks Comfortable sending emails and working in Google Sheets and Docs Ability to work independently and follow established processes Ability to lift and organize boxes and materials as needed Preferred Administrative, office support, or operations support experience Experience updating website content through a content management system Familiarity with CRM systems and database management Experience with data entry, record keeping, and document organization Ability to learn new software and processes quickly Location This position is based in our Apex, NC office and includes a combination of office\-based administrative work and hands\-on operational support. Schedule Part\-Time Approximately 25 hours per week Flexible scheduling based on operational needs Compensation $20 per hour Why Join The Welcome Company?
