- Perform clerical functions under the direction of the school principal
- Help students, staff, and visitors with various problems or complaints in principal’s absence
- Handle complex office situations in a professional and confidential manner
- Database management to include set up, data entry, and report processing.
- Maintain complete and accurate records for students, staff, and all activities that are pertinent to the school operation, including, but not limited to attendance, school fees, invoices, purchase orders, vouchers and the school’s budget
- Embraces change, continually adjusts to work demands and requirements. Is flexible and adaptable. Is willing to take on additional duties as assigned. Participates in organizational and departmental change efforts.
- Demonstrates skills to be able to schedule, organize, and construct comprehensive arrangements for various meetings.
- Organize and maintain school office methods and operations
- Compose and process various forms of correspondence
- Compile data and complete Federal, State, and District reports within designated timelines
- Is self\-directed, resourceful, and creative in meeting job requirements.
- Receive incoming phone calls, direct to others, or take messages.
- Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated expertise with spreadsheets, budget management, word\-processing and document layout
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with all stakeholders
