We are currently looking to hire an Organizing Specialist for our Miami market. The Organizing Specialist leads organizing projects, working directly with the clients and overseeing other organizers on the job. The Organizing Specialist will also assist on unpack, organize, and style projects with a larger team.
Status: Employee, part time, hourly
Hours: 10am to 5pm, 3\-4 days per week
Hourly rate: $35 to $38 (plus paid time off, annual bonus, paid training), $25 per hour for administrative tasks and staff meetings

Duties and Responsibilities \-\- training with a Master Organizer will be provided
Project management: Conducts on\-site needs assessment with client to determine client’s overall needs; Develops a customized plan and timeline for the project; Provides hands\-on support throughout the organizing process using the Less is More approach; Implements organizing systems tailored to each client’s needs; Oversees assistant organizer; Researches and recommends appropriate organizing products, services and tools; Teaches strategies for maintenance; Follows up with clients to help them adapt to organizing systems.
Client management: Coordinates appointments; Contacts client via email before each visit; Coordinates donations for clients; personal shopping for supplies
Physical Demands and Working Conditions : Organizing requires mental and physical stamina. The Organizing Specialist will need to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and use a step stool or small ladder. Working in many different households requires the ability to tolerate typical household odors from pets, smoke or fragrances, and work around children or pets.
Project locations and work hours will vary depending on the project. We serve Miami\-Dade County and parts of southern Broward County.
Must have: access to the internet, a computer, a printer, a car, and a cell phone with voice mail
Experience
One or more years applying organizing skills in a professional capacity; experience in household management, project management or customer service; Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred but not required areas include Business, Marketing, Advertising, Psychology/Social Work, Design, Education) This is not an entry\-level position.
