Conducts safety audits, documentation of safety procedures, and completes reports addressing the efforts to protect youth. Conducts fact\-finding investigations and analysis of safety measures.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES \& DUTIES:

  • Examines, evaluates, and reports on the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems designed to ensure the protection and safety of the youth receiving Boys Town Services.

  • * Conducts proactive audits in regards to youth safety and the systems in place.

  • ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • * Organizes data collection activities for the audit office.

  • * Analyzes reports and data trends to draw conclusions regarding the completion and reporting of safety measures within Boys Town services.

  • * Participates in and completes Fact Finding Investigations, including interviewing youth and staff.

  • * Collaborates internally to ensure proper processes are followed in accordance to confidentiality and documentation.

  • * Prepares and presents reports of results from the audits and investigations.

  • * Communicates departmental recommendations.

  • * Assumes responsibilities of the area director as necessary.

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • * Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to youth care.

  • * High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills. Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem\-solving skills.

  • * Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • * Minimum of 2 years experience required.

  • * Available to travel as necessary required.

  • * Boys Town Family Home Program experience is preferred.

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT USAGE, WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • * Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks. Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set\-up.
