Are you passionate about holistic health and wellness? Do you thrive in a peaceful, low\-stress environment and enjoy connecting with others? If so, you could be the perfect fit for our small, friendly wellness clinic located in Herndon, VA. We specialize in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine and Traditional Massage Therapy, and we're looking for a full time team member to join us for 30\-40 hours per week.
What We're Looking For:
* Detail\-oriented and proficient in Excel/Numbers (for Mac), Word/Pages (for Mac) and Google Docs. (Expert level is not required but you should have working knowledge)
* Organized—you have a passion for keeping things organized and not messy.
* Out Going! If you're the first person your friends and family call to hear their wins and losses you'll be an awesome fit here.
* Creative—you are familiar with Canva and have an eye for design. Can come up with creative ideas for marketing.
* Personable and friendly—we treat our patients like family, so you'll need to warmly greet and connect with them by name.
* Passionate about wellness—an interest in alternative therapies such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi, or good nutrition is a plus.
* Interests in stats––keeping our clinic stats up to date and brainstorming ways to enhance our process and improve the workflow. We'll teach you this but a definite detail oriented person.
* Self\-care focused—whether you regularly practice yoga, receive massage, or follow a healthy diet, we'd love for you to embody the wellness lifestyle that we promote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and get to know them by name. Get to know our patients and whats new in their life.
- Manage appointments, process payments, and keep treatment rooms organized and clean.
- Turn over treatment rooms and have rooms ready for the next patient.
- Making sure each room is pre set with the next patient's preferences.
- Keep our stat files up to date.
- Updating marketing materials using Apple Pages or Canva (similar to MS Word).
- Give a clinic introduction to each new patient.
- Tuesday: 9:30am \-8:30pm
- Wednesday: 8:00\-5:00pm
- Friday: 9:30\-8:30pm
- Saturday: 8:00am\-3:00pm
- Additional 2\+ hours work from home
- Free weekly acupuncture treatments if desired.
