#### Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Purchasing Assistant Clerk to support our procurement operations within a fast\-paced manufacturing environment. #### Key Responsibilities
Procurement Support: Assist in tracking and processing purchase orders, ensuring alignment with company needs, budgets, and procurement strategies
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stock counts, and support cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Order Processing: Process and verify purchase orders, ensuring correct specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules
Reporting: Prepare and maintain purchasing reports to support management decision\-making
Data Entry \& Systems Management: Accurately input and manage data in ERP systems and spreadsheets, including purchases, receipts, and returns
Cross\-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Issue Resolution: Address discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or inventory, and resolve issues promptly
Compliance \& Quality Control: Ensure all purchasing activities follow company policies, budgets, and quality standards
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, track orders, arrange deliveries, and ensure compliance with agreements
Production Floor Support: Review and verify information on the production floor when needed to support purchasing and inventory accuracy
Task Ownership: Take responsibility for assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion and proper follow\-up on all purchasing activities
#### Required Qualifications
Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with ERP or purchasing systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment
Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
