Daugherty Luckey, PLLC, an AV rated law firm located in Manassas, Virginia seeks a full\-time paralegal with at least three or more years of experience in family law. Prior law firm experience required. The successful candidate will be customer oriented and extremely friendly, comfortable speaking with clients, the general public, and court personnel, well organized, work well both independently and in a group setting, and be able to think critically and problem solve in a fast\-paced environment.

Applicants should be highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat and possess the ability to work with these programs on Mac computers.

Duties include drafting court pleadings, managing discovery and deadlines, answering phone calls, managing messages and return calls, preparing letters and mailing, managing calendars of multiple attorneys, managing client database, and general customer care and service.

Daugherty Luckey, PLLC offers a recently renovated and friendly office environment in Old Town Manassas, benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off and holidays.

This position is full\-time on site in Manassas, Virginia, Monday through Friday 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Responsibilities:

\- Drafting court pleadings and managing discovery and deadlines

\- Answer and direct phone calls using a multi\-line phone system

\- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

\- Transcribe notes and messages accurately

\- File and organize documents, both physical and digital

\- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, photocopying, and scanning

\- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors

\- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Requirements:

\- Previous experience in a paralegal role preferred

\- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines

\- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

\- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

\- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

\- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

\- Professional demeanor and appearance at all times
