The Estimator \& Inside Sales Support role is responsible for helping customers through the quoting and booking process while supporting our sales and operations teams. You’ll handle incoming inquiries, build accurate estimates, and ensure all customer information is correctly entered and communicated.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and enjoys making sure everything is correct, clean, and organized behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities Estimating \& Quoting
- Create accurate moving and mobile storage estimates based on customer needs
- Ask the right questions to clarify job details (addresses, access issues, timeline, inventory, etc.)
- Explain pricing, services, and options clearly and professionally
- Update quotes when changes occur and document revisions properly
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and online leads promptly
- Assist with booking jobs and confirming customer details
- Follow up with leads and unsold estimates to help close sales
- Support customer retention with friendly, solution\-focused communication
- Enter and maintain customer information accurately in our system
- Coordinate scheduling support with operations/dispatch
- Create clear notes for the team to ensure smooth job execution
- Track estimate status, deposits, and customer communications
- Experience in moving, storage, logistics, or home services (plus)
- Prior estimating, inside sales, or customer service experience
- Familiarity with scheduling/dispatch workflows
- Ability to upsell services when appropriate (packing, storage duration, delivery, etc.)
- Experience in making sure accounts tied to you are kept current and billed correctly
- Strong communication skills (phone and written)
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred
- Experience with Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Paid time off
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Google sheets/Documents or Excel: 1 year (Required)
- Office Support/Admin : 1 year (Preferred)
