- Maintains required state and national professional credentials and completes related continuing education for credentials
- Supports and participates in assigned outreach activities to promote the EMS program
- Completes required college training (e.g. FERPA, ADA, Canvas, IT, etc.)

- This position has a 6\-month probationary period
- All positions at Chemeketa are required to be available for work onsite as requested by the college.

Chemeketa Community College is seeking a full\-time, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Lab/Clinical Support responsible for all Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) labs, lab logistics, and aspects of the EMS students’ Clinical/Field experience. This position will support EMS students, including multiple satellite paramedic locations. The position communicates with our program leadership, EMS agencies, hospitals, and other sites to assist students in lab, clinical and field experiences. The Clinical support assists with monitoring requirements of students and the clinical process. EMS lab duties will be assigned each term in all of the EMT courses and will require frequent weekend coverage and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
This level requires an equivalency of eight (8\) years of full\-time that reflects the knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions listed above.
This is typically achieved through an Associate degree and six (6\) years of full\-time work experience which reflects the knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions listed above. \-AND\-
EMT (or higher) Licensure
Education equivalency will not apply to three (3\) years of the full\-time work experience.
