Position Summary
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at QPHW, you will play a central role in delivering compassionate, patient\-centered psychiatric care within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships while providing high\-quality psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents, and adults
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence\-based psychiatric care
- Provide medication management with ongoing monitoring for efficacy, tolerability, and patient safety
- Deliver compassionate, trauma\-informed, and culturally responsive care
- Collaborate closely with therapists, support staff, and supervising psychiatrists to ensure continuity of care
- Empower patients through education, shared decision\-making, and whole\-person wellness strategies
- Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically sound documentation in compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth of the practice
- Stay current with evolving psychiatric treatment modalities and best practices in mental health care
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric Nursing from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted California PMHNP license
- PMHNP\-BC certification through ANCC
- Active California DEA registration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient psychiatric or private practice setting preferred
- Experience treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and ethical decision\-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and time\-management abilities
- Passion for high\-quality, patient\-centered, and holistic psychiatric care
