Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Graduate Geophysicist to join our growing and dynamic team. In this entry\-level role, you will contribute to geophysical projects across the US and Internationally by applying your scientific knowledge and technical skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in geophysical data collection, analysis, and interpretation while supporting innovative near surface initiatives. You will work closely with experienced professionals to gain practical experience in near surface and engineering geophysics, utilizing advanced tools and software to uncover subsurface insights that drive strategic decision\-making.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and executing geophysical surveys using industry known software and equipment
- Attend site and collect datasets using multiple methods including, Seismic methods, ERT, Magnetics and Gravity.
- Process, and analyze geophysical data to identify subsurface features and geological structures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects, ensuring data integrity and quality control
- Maintain equipment, learn new equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed during fieldwork
- Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong foundation in scientific methods and data analysis skills
- Experience with software and working within a team is highly desirable
- Technical writing skills for preparing reports, research papers, and documentation
- Fieldwork experience involving geophysical instruments is preferred
