Kadiri House is seeking an Awake Overnight Youth Program Worker that wants to have a positive impact on the community by changing the lives of boys ages 8 to 17\. POSITION PURPOSE

To provide awake overnight care to youth placed in a group home environment, accurately document daily activities and events. Ensure safety to youth in the home. Provide support to the Youth Worker team by completing overnight tasks.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Prior experience of 1 year working with youth preferred
• High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Be of good moral character
• Must have good written and verbal communication
• Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license or obtain one within 30 days from start date of employment, have a clean driving record and be insurable per our corporate driver’s insurance policy
• Must be able to pass an MBI, FBI, and any other employment requirements by our agency and/or Minnesota Department of Human Services

*POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES*

• Monitor and ensure safety for youth during sleeping hours and stay awake in case of emergencies
• Document and attend to any disruptions, night wanderings, etc.
• Keep an updated inventory of pantry and refrigerator
• Assist in “late evening” or “early morning” routines
• Filing youth paperwork, as needed for the team
• Fulfill other job\-related responsibilities which are assigned by leadership
• Washing towels or residents clothes as needed
• Household cleaning in preparation for the next day
• Complete training hours required by state and organization regulations
• Participate in staff meetings
• Assist day staff with preparing the daily schedule
• Assist with current record\-keeping in youth's files
• Record daily/nightly notes for the shift
• Administrative duties

Pay: $21\.00 \- $23\.00 per hour
