Thiel College seeks a dynamic and service\-oriented professional to serve as our full\-time Admissions Events and Operations Coordinator. As part of a team dedicated to changing lives through education, the Coordinator will manage campus visit programs and experiences, coordinate recruitment events, and support enrollment operations and special projects under the direction of the Admissions leadership team. The Coordinator will report to the Assistant Director of Admissions, Operations and Marketing and supervise the Thiel Team (Admissions student ambassadors).
Primary duties:
- Plans, coordinates and participates in all aspects of admissions events including, but not limited to, open houses, specialty events (accepted student days, scholarship competition days, and summer orientations), virtual events and information sessions.
- Arranges and assesses individual campus visits.
- Participates in developing new events.
- Assesses all events and proposes improvements based on assessment data.
- Forecasts and monitors budgets for all expenses related to campus events and visit experiences
- Supports the Assistant Director of Admission Operations and Marketing on emails, website content, publications, and other communications to promote campus visits and event attendance.
- Fulfills data entry requirements as needed and directed by leadership.
- Hires, trains, and supervises the Thiel Team (paid student ambassadors).
- Maintains and staffs the admissions front desk and welcome area while directing incoming calls, greeting guests, and performing other administrative duties.
- Performs other duties as requested by VPESLA, Director of Admission, and Assistant Director of Admission and Operations.

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
Preferred Experience and Skills: One to two years of event planning or coordination experience. Experience in higher education admissions or student services. Familiarity with CRM systems (Slate is currently used). Experience with budget management.
Essential Job Functions: Ability to think on your feet and problem solve as needed. Act as a liaison between the campus special events office, food service, facilities and environmental services departments to ensure successful visit day events. Expected to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
