JLC Environmental Consultants, Inc. provides environmental inspections services to clients including asbestos, lead, mold, water, soil and air. We also have an in\-house lab to analyze asbestos samples.
Skills Required: Excellent typing and Microsoft Office, Adobe (pdf files), Windows 11 and Phone manners are required. Administrative experience preferred. Administrative Assistant will work under a Project Manager. Position hours are 9:00 AM \- 5:30 PM Monday\-Friday (No remote work).
Responsibilities:
Primary\-
- Data entry to prepare lab reports.
- Preparing proposals and various forms and reports using Microsoft Word and Excel templates.
- Working with PDF Files.
- Scanning, Filing, answering client emails
- Answering phones
- Taking new client information over the phone or via email for new projects
- Creating project folders on company server and entering new projects in Management Information System.
- Delivering paperwork, reports, samples etc to other companies or labs in the NYC Area
