Purpose of the Role
The Receptionist’s primary responsibility is to answer the phone and greet all incoming visitors and assure they are directed to the appropriate person. This position is a nonexempt, full\-time, hourly position.
MIT’s (Most Important Tasks)
- Midweek Guest Hospitality
- Manages all Campus Phone Calls
- Coordinates Campus Deliveries
- Vehicle Reservations
- Administration Assistance (attendance, info emails, signage, etc.)
- Manage the reception desk when it comes to phone calls, visitors, deliveries and work order tickets to Facilities and Grounds.
- Carmel attendance, data entry, courier management, and manage NV vehicle use.
- Manage postage meter, kitchen supplies, and financial assistant applications.
- Assist Guest Experience Coordinator as needed.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1\-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Related experience would be in Administrative/Clerical Support and handling a multi\-line phone system.
- Ability to effectively manage time
