Position Summary:
This position requires a strong support role for the housing administrator by performing a wide variety of duties: Coordinating and managing activities, managing annual recertifications, telephone, record\-keeping, tenant and applicant correspondence, visitor control, assisting in management issues, customer service, rental information, and various duties involving close interaction with tenants, maintenance, janitorial, and the administrator.
Position Responsibilities include:
- Serves as a support person for the administrator.
- Manages monthly recertifications, collecting and processing data.
- Manages tenant rents and completes monthly rent receipts.
- Initiates and coordinates resident activities.
- Maintains master and office calendars with respect to activities and scheduling.
- Coordinates monthly unit inspections.
- Maintains general, tenant, and unit files.
- Maintains current resident logs, lists, and other data regarding resident and unit status.
- Assists in most aspects of move\-ins and move\-outs.
- Keeps track of hospitalizations and tenant log\-out lists.
- Has the authority to purchase and stock supplies for the office and any activities.
- Serves as custodian of the petty cash fund and maintains confidential records in good order.
- Writes monthly newsletter and handles distribution.
- Runs necessary errands.
- Operates a computer and the necessary computer programs.
- Types documents as prepared by the administrator.
- Prepares documents as needed.
- Coordinates printing and duplicating services.
- Attends and participates in monthly resident council meetings.
- Completes other duties as assigned by the administrator.
- College degree preferred, or applicable work experience.
- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
- Computer, organizational and typing skills preferred.
- Experience with HUD 202/8 housing program.
- Must know and understand the capabilities of the elderly population.
- Must represent the Manor both in person and by telephone in a positive, friendly manner.
- Experience with seniors preferable.
This is an on\-call temporary position until October 2026: The starting salary for this position ranges from $18\.76 to $21\.50 per hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job\-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

Light Work
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.
The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre\-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen.
