Join the Dwell Coworking Team!
Get paid to be part of a coworking community while still having room to pursue your own work.
Dwell Coworking is looking for a part\-time Community Manager to help create a welcoming, professional, and productive environment for our members and guests. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys people, hospitality, and light operations — but also wants flexibility to work on a remote job, side hustle, freelance work, or growing business during quieter parts of the day.
The primary responsibility is making sure the space runs smoothly and members feel supported. But when daily tasks are complete and the space is calm, this role gives you something most part\-time jobs don’t: paid time in a professional coworking environment where you can stay productive, build relationships, and keep momentum on your own work.
Job Overview:
As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and productive environment for our members and guests. You will manage the day\-to\-day operations of the coworking space, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your primary goal is to foster a sense of community among members while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the space.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Support
Be the go\-to person for members — greet them, answer questions, solve problems, and make sure they feel welcome and supported every day.
Facilities Oversight
Keep the space clean, organized, and ready to use. Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance staff when needed.
Admin Tasks
Handle basic admin work like updating member records, managing signups, and processing payments.
Event Support
Help plan and run member events, from simple coffee meetups to workshops and networking nights. Assist with scheduling, setup, and promotion.
Tours and Outreach
Give tours to potential members and help them understand what makes the space special. Support member retention and community growth efforts.
Tech Help
Troubleshoot common tech issues — like Wi\-Fi, printers, or other office gear — and escalate problems when needed.
Safety and Access
Help keep the space secure by monitoring access and responding to safety concerns if they arise.
Community Building
Encourage connections between members by making introductions, answering questions, and helping foster a friendly, inclusive vibe.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or community roles required.
- Friendly, approachable, and confident in communicating with a wide range of people.
- Organized and able to juggle tasks without getting overwhelmed.
- Comfortable using basic tech tools and troubleshooting issues like Wi\-Fi or printers (we’ll train you).
- Curious about coworking and eager to learn how shared workspaces operate.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including the occasional evening or weekend shift.
- Space to focus in a professional, well\-equipped coworking environment — no more working from your couch or noisy coffee shops.
- Generous downtime between tasks, giving you time to work on your remote job, side hustle, or growing business.
- Daily exposure to a vibrant network of professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives — with organic opportunities to connect and collaborate.
- A meaningful role in a mission\-driven company that’s reimagining how and where people work.
- Free access to coworking amenities, including Wi\-Fi, meeting rooms, and community events.
- Remote workers who want a break from working alone at home and crave human interaction in a productive, social environment.
- Business owners who want to earn extra income while growing their venture — and benefit from daily networking opportunities with other professionals.
- Side hustlers and freelancers who are building a portfolio, business, or creative project and want a steady, community\-focused role alongside it.
- People seeking predictable part\-time hours who also value built\-in downtime to focus on their own work when the space is quiet.
- Professionals looking to grow new skills in operations, hospitality, event planning, or customer service — all in a real\-world, fast\-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule
- Tell us about your hospitality experience and why you think you'd be perfect for this role.
- Are you willing to work either 8:30AM\-1:00PM or 1:00PM to 5:30PM?
- What is your available start date?
- Which days and time ranges are you available to work specifically?
- Hospitality: 1 year (Required)
