The Human Resources Service Center Representative supports the Human Resources Service Center within HR Service Center at MD Anderson Cancer Center. - Provide problem resolution and general human resources assistance, including benefits, separations, onboarding, and training inquiries.
- Manage myHR calls and email inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Assist with training course registration, cancellations, and employee status inquiries.
- Activate Performance Reward Cards and assist with Employee Service Award inquiries.
- Complete special projects while adhering to established deadlines and accuracy standards.
- Greet, welcome, and assist all walk\-in human resources visitors.
- Answer main human resources phone lines and appropriately direct calls.
- Validate visitor parking for onboarding candidates and human resources guests.
- Complete contingent worker vetting processes.
- Provide directions within the building and assist with job application computers.
- Create identification badges for employees and contingent workers.
- Maintain badge requests through PeopleSoft self\-service and Outlook.
- Verify badge requests, background check completion, and onboarding status.
- Resolve badge\-related issues submitted through the human resources helpdesk.
- Demonstrate courtesy, professionalism, and teamwork in all interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriate use of computer access.
- Achieve and maintain a 95% or higher accuracy rate in assigned processes.
- Serve as a mentor to peers and new call processing representatives.
- Remain calm and professional in stressful or unpleasant situations.
- Perform duties while seated at a desk using a computer, headset, scanner, fax, and copier.
- Lift or move equipment weighing less than 20 pounds as needed.
- Maintain business professional attire and visible identification badge.
