The Director of Admissions for the Jefferson College of Nursing (JCN) in the Lehigh Valley provides strategic leadership and management in the recruitment, selection, and yield of students for assigned populations. The Director leverages technology, data, staff talent, and relationships with academic partners to create innovative approaches to application pool management to ensure that enrollment headcount, revenue, quality, and composition goals are met.
The Director leads the team and activity focused on individual applicant interaction including recruitment events, prospect/applicant outreach, application review, candidate interviews, selection, decision communication, yield efforts, and customer service. The Director works extensively with Deans and program directors on the achievement of enrollment goals.
This position is located in the Lehigh Valley and the incumbent is expected to reside in reasonable proximity to campus.

- 10\+ years industry experience, 5\+ years management/leadership experience
- Experience with Nursing program admissions strongly preferred

- Will lead committees related to portfolio of work.
- Will assign tasks and deadlines as well as review work of colleagues through committees.
- Will serve as a senior Enrollment Management professional at the Lehigh Valley campus representing Jefferson Enrollment Management
* Student Recruitment: oversee the team of professionals deployed in direct student recruitment activities including off\-campus, on\-campus, and virtual events/visits.
* Prospect/Applicant Outreach: direct activity related to converting individuals from prospects to applicants and from incomplete to complete applicants.
* Student Selection: determine selection criteria and design and implement application review and selection procedures including interviews \& decision communications.
* Admitted/Deposited Student Outreach: direct all activity related to converting admitted and deposited students to enrolled students.
* Application Pool Management : ensure that the flow of applicants through the enrollment funnel supports the stated goals; manage offer targets, waitlists, melt\-indicators, etc.
* Special Population Management : develop strategies to address assigned sub\-populations (i.e. re\-entries, cross\-campus transfers, etc.).
* Key Collaborations: collaborate extensively with academic and administrative colleagues in the recruitment, selection, and yield of new students.
* Staff \& Budget Management: manage employees and operating dollars assigned to the team.
* Jefferson Enrollment Management Senior Leadership Team Responsibilities: as a member of the JEM SLT, this position is responsible for conducting the following activities on behalf of the Admissions JCN/Lehigh Valley portfolio: planning \& project management, policy \& procedure development, quality assurance \& effectiveness, serving as the domain subject matter expert, and contributing to the division’s culture of high achievement and positivity.
