Who You Are

Global Supply Chain, Category Management, Manager

What You Will Be Doing

You'll develop a global sourcing strategy for commodities and structures. Define project scope and facilitates execution, identifying savings opportunities in order to provide differentiating value. Work with Business Area, Business Unit or Enterprise\-wide, cross\-functional teams to analyze supply base risks \& opportunities, identify new sources of supply and meet business requirements. You'll negotiate and manage contracts and relationships with suppliers to drive innovative strategies and enhance performance. Implement policies and metrics to ensure that savings goals are realized and performance requirements are achieved. Acts as the main focal point for all matters pertaining to the given category. You'll also be responsible in leading a team that contract and buy products to support multiple lines of business and for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experienced in Supply Chain, Production or Production Control
  • Experience in a Full Spectrum Leadership role leading multifunctional teams
  • Experience leading though changing priorities
  • Experience with the Continuous Improvement process
  • Desired Skills:

  • Drives accountability across teams and lines of business
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Risk management and mitigation experience
  • Advocates for and adopts Completed Staff Work and Leader Standard Work

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
