Job Description Summary
At Wycliffe Bible Translators, your work is more than just a job. As an Account Management Specialist, you will play a key role in the accurate processing, documentation, and receipting of complex charitable gifts that resource the work of Bible translation worldwide. This position ensures that gifts are administered in accordance with organizational policies, donor intent, and regulatory requirements while supporting strong stewardship and financial accountability.
The role is responsible for managing a wide range of gift types, including Charitable Gift Annuities, Missionary Partnership Plans (MPPs), Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), Charitable Trusts, and Endowments, as well as bequest gifts, gifts of real estate, and other non\-cash contributions. These may also include securities, gifts\-in\-kind, mineral rights, and gifts that require additional research or clarification to ensure proper designation and processing.
Your contributions will play a pivotal role in fostering effective communication among departments, onsite staff, remote staff, and donors.
You’ll partner with Finance leadership and other team members to:
- Champion accuracy, timeliness and integrity across financial processes, reporting and communication.
- Handle financial data and interactions with professionalism, discretion and care.
- Strengthen a collaborative, people\-centered culture that values excellence and continuous improvement.
- Faithfully and regularly pray for the ongoing work of Bible translation and for people from around the world to experience transformation.
- Act as an organizational representative presenting the global ministry of Wycliffe and encouraging interested individuals, organizations and churches to participate in the work of Bible translation.
- Live\-out \- conviction of “work flows through relationship” by passionately “loving God and loving people” through word and deed. Promote team and organizational culture standards, ensuring high customer service standards.
- Collaborate on departmental initiatives to provide a best\-in\-class experience for Wycliffe USA future and existing staff. Assist with cross\-functional team responsibilities, tactical teams/departmental initiatives.
- Represent the Finance team in meetings, projects, workshops, and partnership efforts as assigned.
- Work alongside the Planned Gift Manager and other team members to:
- Assist with real estate and mineral rights gifts, assist with gifts\-in\-kind, including data entry into the CRM database, acknowledging gift\-in\-kind to donors, and coordinating with Finance to ensure IRS forms are filled as needed.
- Assist with bequests, gifts\-in\-kind, and donor\-advised funds.
- Create the missionary partnership plans and the MPP Monthly Distribution Spreadsheets.
- Act as the secondary contact for Wycliffe Foundation regarding the processing of the charitable gift annuity, and all 1099R and 1099INT.
- Monitor the Foundation email and Foundation phone line.
- Handle sensitive, confidential, and personal information from constituents in a fast and accurate manner.
- Meet regularly with the manager to provide status updates. Update the manager on donor concerns and trends in donation complaints as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Planned Gift Manager of Wycliffe Foundation Finance.

- Technical Skills:
- Associate Degree and 3 years of finance, accounting, and/or customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Nonprofit ministry experience is also beneficial.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $20\.11 \- $23\.94\. The range for this position is based upon and considers Wycliffe’s non\-profit ministry environment. Actual pay rate may be higher based on various factors such as qualifications, skills and experience, required training, licensure and/or certifications, budget and allocation, if applicable.
